Coming (not too) Soon: More Workbooks!

Coming (not too) Soon: More Workbooks!

One of my 2024 goals is to publish Drawing Meditation exercises. We have three workbooks now, but I have scores of exercises and meditations to share.

Workbooks are my favorite medium, so that is what I plan. But they are old-fashioned and don’t sell well. Every time I get started on them, I ruminate:

  • Maybe an app would be better
  • An online course with videos?
  • Workbooks specifically for coaches and teachers
  • Maybe I need a full Drawing Meditations Teacher Training
  • How about a new coloring book?
  • Individual mediations for download?
  • More podcast episodes?
  • We haven’t had a live class in ages…

And at that point I hit the bottom of the well and become paralysed by the number of possibilities, which leads to no progress on anything.

So I am putting it out there. Workbooks in 2024. This will help me to organise my thoughts and gather the materials to do any of the other formats that seem good later. And if workbooks don’t sell, at least it won’t be a surprise.
